Now and Forever
O Spirit Divine, encompassing us all
Let the winds of Truth
blow through the valleys of our mind
paring, scraping, wrenching
the moss of lies that clog
the smooth path of reason,
polishing, burnishing
the rock of truth
on which our soul is set
Mid gleams of light, a whispered
cry.
Let go! Let go!
the pebbles of dissention,
the stones of discontent.
Rent wide the cracks and crevices
of dark dislike
that mar the passage of our spirit
in this life.
For we are meant to show
and truly do we know,
the divinity of our being,
enwrapped in moulded form of flesh,
a temporary lodge
on our infinite journey of foreverness.
